Environmental Pollution Investigation

Our Consultancy team are experienced in the investigation of pollution incidents both onshore and offshore.

Working in conjunction with our Public Analyst/Laboratory Services Department (Environmental Testing) we combine the investigative expertise of the former with the sophisticated testing capabilities of the latter to create a highly effective team able to respond immediately to incidents around the world. We are continually developing our capability to conduct key and sophisticated tests in the field to provide real time information, so facilitating rapid decision making.

Our expertise in Metallurgy & Corrosion Analysis and also in refinery, chemical plant and tanker operations can often add a final, important, dimension to the investigation where root cause analysis is required.

All work is undertaken to forensic standards and will be supported by expert witness services, if required.

We are also associated with the Geoenvironmental Research Park (GRP), an all-Welsh research and development facility lead by the Cardiff University School of Engineering. The GRP acts as an incubator for a number of high-tech companies working in the broad field of the environment and sustainability. This keeps us in close contact with cutting edge technologies.
